Nafees Chaudhry is the founder of CNC. After completing his Bachelor’s of Commerce degree, majoring in Finance in 1997, Nafees joined Vancity Savings Credit Union, where he worked at the head office for a few years, before moving to Ethical Mutual Funds, joining the mutual fund valuation accounting team. At Ethical Mutual Funds, Nafees designed their North American RRSP Clone Equity Fund’s daily valuation financial model. Prior to this, he received his first accounting designation, Certified General Accountant and a few years later his second designation, Certified Management Accountant. Nafees also completed the Canadian Investment Security Course , received an Associate Certificate in Personal Financial Planning (BCIT with Hons) and the CGA Tax in-depth certification. As well in 2003 he received Coast Capital’s Savings’ Small Savings Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
He specializes in working with small to medium-sized businesses to meet all of their accounting, taxation and succession planning needs. He loves working beside and aiding small businesses, aiming to minimize their taxes and maximize the wealth of his clients. Nafees works on a one-to-one basis with small business owners, explaining to them various tax saving and business growth strategies. These sessions are invaluable for small business owners and set them up for success in their future endeavours. With his diverse background and more than 20 years of experience, Nafees works with numerous, unique industries, including retail, wholesale, real-estate construction, contractors, holding corporations, not-for-profit societies (NPO), as well as professional corporations.
Nafees writes articles for smallbusinessbc.ca, which is sponsored by the BC government for all entrepreneurs. He also speaks at seminars arranged by the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) for small business clients and RBC internal advisory team.
Outside of the office, Nafees enjoys to play sports, including hockey, basketball, and cricket. He frequently travels with his wife and four kids.
Yudi Fang joined CNC as a staff accountant and in 2020 promoted as a supervisor. She completed her bachelor’s degree in general business in 2012 and subsequently worked for four years with the Bank of China as a financial analyst. Yudi also has a degree in accounting and completed H&R Block tax program, both of which reinforced her knowledge in assurance, taxation and finance. She is currently pursuing her CPA designation.
Yudi is organized, detail orientated and focuses on assisting clients on a wide range of corporate, personal tax matters, lawyer trust accounting, GST/PST matters, and dealing with various tax authorities. Yudi is also involved in lawyer trust audit and preparing reporting for BC Law Society. In her spare time Yudi loves to play with her dog, go swimming, and spend time doing outdoor activities.
Kevin Huang joined CNC as a staff accountant. He completed bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance in 2017 and subsequently completed accounting DAP program from UBC in 2020. He is currently pursuing his CPA designation.
Kevin is organized and detail orientated before joining CNC, he worked on various accounting positions and has a keen understanding of small business operations. Kevin has fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin. In his spare time, Kevin loves to spend time doing outdoor activities and reading accounting magazines.
Atieh Mohsenifar joined CNC Chartered Professional Accounting as an Office Administrator. She has an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science and a master degree in Human Resource Administration from Fairleigh Dickison University NJ, USA.
Before joining CNC, Atieh was a customer service administrator at Coast Appliances. She has wealth of experience with aiding and supporting customers, being able to identify their needs and respond to inquiries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner. In her spare time, Atieh enjoys cooking and spending time with family, friends and her dog.
